Tribal Response and Court Enhancement Strategies Project (TRACES) The goal of the TRACES project is to enhance tribal criminal justice systems through training and technical assistance that is focused on improving the capacity of emerging and established tribal courts to collaborate with state and local courts, improve data collection and communications with technology, and improve outcomes for American Indian/Alaska Native victims of crime. |

Advocate Online Training (AOT) AOT is the first online training created to meet the needs of domestic violence and sexual assault advocates living and working in remote tribal and rural areas. This project, when completed, will offer skills based core competency through an online training institute, the INJ E-Center. Courses will also be made available on DVD for trainees who do not have adequate Internet connectivity. |
Native Voices The Native Voices film project will provide domestic violence and sexual assault intervention and response training for law enforcement, prosecution, tribal councils, and advocates. This film series will feature Native American actors and specific nuances of working in Indian Country. |
Recovery Act Training and Technical Assistance We provide training and technical assistance to all Recovery Act Grants to Indian Tribal Governments Program grantees. We have a specific focus on transitional housing, program sustainability, and legal issues. |
